Stuart Broad proud of six-wicket haul

England bowler Stuart Broad expresses his pride after taking six wickets on the opening day of the first Test against the West Indies at Lord's.

England bowler Stuart Broad has revealed his pride after he took six wickets against the West Indies on the opening day of the first Test at Lord's.

Broad's 6-72 saw the tourists make 243/9 on a difficult day for Darren Sammy's side.

"It's a very proud day for me and more importantly we're in a great position in the Test match," he told Sky Sports News.

"No-one was expecting 100 all out, we knew it was going to be a long day's cricket, so we had to be patient and we thought seven down at night would be a really good day, so to have them nine down is really pleasing."

England need to take one more wicket tomorrow (Friday) before they take to the crease.
