Ian Bell "itching to get back"

England batsman Ian Bell has admitted that he cannot wait for the Test series with Pakistan in Dubai to get underway.

The world's number one Test team arrived in the Middle East earlier this week following several weeks' recuperation.

Despite confessing that the break was "nice", 29-year-old Bell has revealed that he is now fully focused on the upcoming matches.

"It's nice to have had a break. But a month or two into it, you're itching to get back in the nets and practise," he told Sky Sports News.

"It was brilliant to get out there. We're lucky to be able to use these facilities in preparation for a Test series. It is exactly what you need.

"We're going to really enjoy the next week of preparation, and getting ready."

Touring England will play their first warm-up fixture on Saturday.
