Not a single ball was bowled at the Bristol County Ground before the decision was made to abandon the match.

The two sides were due to face each other in the first of five ODIs after a five-Test series which England won convincingly 3-1.

They will now hope to start the series on Wednesday at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff.
