Australia paceman Mitchell Johnson: 'I think about retiring most days'

Australia bowler Mitchell Johnson has admitted that he regularly thinks about retiring, but his love of the game stops him from walking away.

The 34-year-old has claimed that he is yet to make a decision about his future as he prepares to take part in Australia's second Test against New Zealand in Perth on Friday.

"I think about it most days," Johnson told reporters. "It's probably getting to that time, but to be honest I'm just trying to go out there and play each game and enjoy it. Who knows? It could be after this game. I might just go 'I'm done'.

"I'm still enjoying my cricket at the moment, I'm enjoying the challenges. It's a really good time for Australian cricket with these young guys in the team and I want to be a part of that."

Johnson has played in 72 Test matches, 153 one-day internationals and 30 Twenty20s in his career.
