Australia bowler Mitchell Starc to miss return Ashes series?

Australia bowler Mitchell Starc could be sidelined for the return Ashes series against England due to a back injury.

The 23-year-old, who competed in three of the five Tests, claimed 11 wickets during the Ashes, which resulted in victory for England this summer.

Cricket Australia have claimed that Starc is "expected to be unavailable for a prolonged period" due to an early stage stress fracture in his lower back.

The return Ashes series gets underway in Brisbane on November 21.
