The two parties have until October 31 to get a deal done, with Beal reportedly looking for a max contract.
Talks are continuing between the Wizards and their shooting guard, but there has not been any movement in recent weeks, according to CSNmidatlantic.com.
Beal led the way for his team with an average of 23.4 points per game in the playoffs last season.
