Washington Wizards shooting guard Glen Rice returns to the team following a three-game spell with the D-League Iowa Energy.

The Washington Wizards have recalled Glen Rice from their development league side the Iowa Energy.

The second-round Draft pick underwent surgery last month after fracturing his wrist during the team's win over the New York Knicks.

The 23-year-old was assigned to the D-League last week, averaging 24.3 points during his three games with the Energy.

Rice featured in 11 games for the Wizards prior to his injury, scoring 2.9 points per game.
