Report: Washington Wizards offer contract to undrafted Jaleel Roberts

The Washington Wizards are on the verge of signing 7' centre Jaleel Roberts, according to reports.

The 22-year-old was not selected in the NBA Draft last month after three seasons playing college sport for the University of North Carolina.

However, NBC Sports claims that the Wizards will hand him a lifeline with a short-term non-playing contract, allowing him to impress in pre-season.

Roberts averaged 7.1 points per game during his time with UNC.
