Marcin Gortat signs new Washington Wizards deal

The Washington Wizards have announced that Marcin Gortat has signed a new five-year contract with the team.

The center was traded to Washington from the Phoenix Suns last October, spending the 2013-14 season with the Wizards.

The 30-year-old shared a photo of him signing the contract on his Twitter feed:

The Pole averaged 13.2 points per game last season.
