John Wall not confident of Washington Wizards return

The Washington Wizards may be without John Wall for a fourth straight game against the Atlanta Hawks.

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall is a doubt for tonight's playoff game against the Atlanta Hawks.

The 24-year-old has missed the last three games due to wrist and hand injuries, but had been tipped to return for today's game.

Wall has been in training this week but is not sure if he will play.

He told reporters: "It's a matter of do I feel confident. You can be comfortable no matter what, but if you're not confident in your ability to do what you want to do, there's no point in playing.

"Hopefully I can get some more work in before the game to see where my mindset is and how confident I feel in it because I don't want to be out there and not be any help. If I can't go out there and be confident and be myself, I don't want to take away from the way the team has been playing."

The Wizards and the Hawks are currently tied at 2-2 in a seven-match series.
