Toronto Raptors bring in experienced center Greg Stiemsma

The Toronto Raptors have signed free agent and veteran center Greg Stiemsma.

Stiemsma featured for the New Orleans Pelicans last time out, where he averaged 2.9 points and career highs of 4.1 rebounds and 18.3 minutes in 55 games during the 2013-14 campaign.

The experienced 6'11" player originally joined the NBA having been brought in from the Turkish league by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2010, before going on to play for the Boston Celtics.

Stiemsma spent his college years representing Wisconsin and has also played in the Korean Basketball League.
