Kyle Lowry describes recent form as "trash"

Toronto Raptors star Kyle Lowry describes his recent play as "trash" as his averages have fallen in recent weeks.

Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry has criticised his own recent play and has insisted that he is trying to find a way to improve.

The 28-year-old has averaged 13.4 points and 5.9 assists in his past 12 games, shooting 36.3% from the field overall and 26.2% from three-point range.

"Me? I'm trash," Lowry told reporters.

"I'm just trying to figure it out right now, to be honest with you."

Lowry had averaged 19.6 points and 7.4 assists in his first 45 games of the season which resulted in an All-Star call-up earlier this month.

His improved numbers coincided with teammate DeMar DeRozan's injury, but since the Raptors have been at full strength his numbers have dipped.
