Blazers to re-evaluate McCollum in six weeks

The Portland Trail Blazers have said that CJ McCollum underwent a successful procedure to aid his recovery from a broken foot.

The guard fractured his fifth metatarsal at the weekend, before having a non-operative ultrasound procedure to aid bone growth yesterday.

The team has said that the rookie will remain sidelined indefinitely, but will be re-assessed in six weeks.

The 22-year-old was selected in the first round of this year's Draft.
