C.J. McCollum breaks foot in training

The Portland Trail Blazers have suffered a setback in their pre-season preparations following the news that C.J. McCollum has broken his foot for the second time.

McCollum suffered the injury to his fifth metatarsal on Saturday and will need an operation to mend the problem, the Blazers confirmed.

The 22-year-old broke the same foot in January while playing for Lehigh to bring a premature end to his final season with the college.

McCollum was the 10th pick in the NBA draft.
