Victor Oladipo has said that there was a "great atmosphere" during his debut NBA game.
The Orlando Magic shooting guard, who was the second overall pick in this year's Draft, scored 12 points during the 97-87 loss to the Indiana Pacers last night.
The 21-year-old, who went to college in Indiana, told the team's website: "It was a great atmosphere. Hoosier fans were in there and I would've liked to have won, but overall it was pretty cool.
"It was amazing. I got a lot of love right there. It was truly a blessing for them to come out here and support me and watch me. I'm grateful and thankful.
"This is my first NBA game, so it's not all going to be perfect, it's not all going to be set in stone. It's a growing process, so I've just got to be patient and just continue to keep going."
The Magic face the New Orleans Pelicans later today.
