Oklahoma City Thunder claim victory in overtime

Thunder beat Wizards in overtime

The Oklahoma City Thunder overcame a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Washington Wizards 106-105 in overtime on Sunday night.

Bradley Beal scored 34 points for the Wizards, who looked set to claim their third successive win before the Thunder hit back late on.

A late three-point shot from Kevin Durant, who recorded 33 points and 12 rebounds, tied the game and it was his two foul shots in overtime which handed the Thunder the victory.

John Wall missed an attempted layup at the buzzer for the Wizards to condemn the visitors to their fourth defeat of the season.

Serge Ibaka also made a vital contribution for the hosts as he added 25 to the scoreboard at the Chesapeake Arena.
