Kevin Durant: 'I'm the best player in the world'

Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant has insisted that he is the best basketball player in the world.

While LeBron James recently made the same statement of himself, Durant insisted that he wasn't ready to allow him to have that title.

"No disrespect to anyone else, but I feel like I'm the best player in the world," he said, according to CSN Chicago.

James, Anthony Davis, Stephen Curry and James Harden have all previously discussed being the best, or at least wanting to become the best.

Durant spent much of last season on the sidelines after suffering further complications with his surgically-repaired foot.
