Mike Woodson: "We were awful"

Mike Woodson has admitted that the New York Knicks were "awful" in their defeat to the Indiana Pacers last night.

The Knicks were beaten 117-89 as the Pacers claimed their ninth win in a row to extend their lead in the Eastern Conference.

The head coach told reporters: "They're a good team, but I don't think they're 30 points better than our team. We were awful."

The Knicks are back in action this evening against the Los Angeles Clippers.
