Anthony Davis listed as day-to-day

New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis has been listed as day-to-day by the franchise after suffering a left shoulder sprain.

Davis suffered the injury during the loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night, and did not return after leaving the game in the second quarter.

The 20-year-old leads the team in scoring and rebounds, and it is unclear at this early stage as to how long he will be sidelined for.

Davis is averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds per game and leads the NBA in blocked shots, while he also made his first All-Star appearance earlier this month.
