Kevin Love has withdrawn from Team USA's squad for the FIBA World Cup amid speculation that the Minnesota Timberwolves are on the verge of trading him.

The power forward has been linked with moves to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors this off-season.

Team USA managing director Jerry Colangelo said in a statement: "The fact is we can only look to the players we have available. Our job is to get the job done with our very, very deep roster, and we're anxious to get things started."

Love averaged 26.1 points per game last season.
