Kevin Love has admitted that Sunday's loss to the Portland Trail Blazers was a painful defeat to take for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Despite lining up against a Blazers side missing LaMarcus Aldridge, the Timberwolves were unable to avoid slumping to a 108-97 loss at the Moda Center.
"A night like tonight hurts a lot," Love told reporters after the game. "It's a reminder to us that we need all our guys back.
"We need our depth. Even without LaMarcus, we needed all our guys tonight."
Minnesota will look to recover from the defeat when they face the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night.
