Parker undergoes knee surgery

Milwaukee Bucks rookie forward Jabari Parker underwent surgery on his left knee on Tuesday after suffering a torn ACL last month.

The Bucks star sustained the injury against the Phoenix Suns on December 15 and it has already been announced that he will miss the rest of the season.

Bucks general manager John Hammond confirmed that the procedure had taken place and revealed that there is no timeline for Parker's return to basketball activities.

Parker was averaging 12.3 points and 5.5 rebounds in 25 games before the injury, and has previously insisted that he will remain optimistic throughout the recovery process.

Meanwhile, Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose told the media last month that he would be happy to give Parker some advice after suffering the same injury three years ago.
