Miami Heat ace LeBron James and Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant lead their respective conferences after the second returns on the NBA All-Star balloting.
James is the overall leader with 854,105 votes, and is followed by the Indiana Pacers' Paul George in the East. Durant has 850,728 votes and is ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant in the West, the NBA announced.
The 63rd NBA All-Star game will take place at the New Orleans Arena on February 16, and will be broadcast live to 215 countries.
Balloting for the event will end on January 20 and the results announced live on January 23 with the likes of Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul the other front-runners in the voting.
