Report: Steve Nash forced to consider retirement

Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Nash is reportedly considering retiring after 17 years in the NBA.

Steve Nash has been forced to consider retiring from playing in the NBA, according to reports.

The point guard has been battling nerve and back problems for over a year, and has not played in the Los Angeles Lakers' last four games.

NBC Sports reports that the 39-year-old is seriously considering whether he is able to continue his career.

However, head coach Mike D'Antoni has told ESPN that Nash will do everything he can to come back.

The two-time MVP has featured in six games for the Lakers this season.
