Mike D'Antoni: Los Angeles Lakers have "positive energy"

Los Angeles Lakers head coach Mike D'Antoni says that the team showed a "positive energy" in their first game of the NBA season.

Mike D'Antoni has said that the Los Angeles Lakers had a "positive energy" during their win over the Los Angeles Clippers last night.

Xavier Henry was the team's top scorer during the 116-103 victory, while Pau Gasol and Jordan Farmer also made sizable contributions.

The coach told reporters: "You don't have to have one guy be the star every night, everybody's has a chance and everybody's playing right, and everybody is rooting for everybody else.

"It's just a positive energy. That's the biggest thing, you could just feel it, you could feel the energy and everybody rooting for everybody. It was a little bit different last year where it was like cold. This time it was pretty warm."

The Golden State Warriors face the Lakers later today.
