Mike D'Antoni: 'Los Angeles Lakers had better energy'

Mike D'Antoni has said that the Los Angeles Lakers had "better energy" in their defeat to the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Pacific Division side lost 108-103 to the Grizzlies, leaving them with seven losses in their last eight games.

The coach told reporters: "I thought there was better energy and better karma. There was a much better feeling among themselves. I thought they battled and their defense was good in the second half."

The Lakers host the Sacramento Kings tomorrow.
