Crittenton pleads guilty to manslaughter

Ex-NBA player Javaris Crittenton has pleaded guilty to manslaughter over a shooting in 2011.

The 27-year-old was charged with the murder of Julian Jones, who died in surgery as a result of being shot in the leg.

Crittenton is believed to have been targeting a man who had robbed him days before, but instead shot the 22-year-old mother of four.

The ex-Los Angeles Lakers point guard was also arrested last year on suspicion of selling large quantities of cocaine.

Crittenton also played for the Memphis Grizzlies and Washington Wizards.
