Kobe Bryant has revealed that he cannot yet push off his Achilles without feeling pain as he continues his comeback from injury.

The Los Angeles Lakers veteran was forced to undergo surgery on his heel in April and his latest comments suggest that he is still quite far away from a return.

"I can't quite push all the way through yet, but it's coming along fine. It feels all right.," Bryant told the team's official website.

"It gets tight, so we just continue to work with modalities & making sure we loosen it up & get it going, but I feel good about it."

Bryant has spent his entire 17-year NBA career with the Lakers, winning five league titles.
