Maalik Wayns re-joins Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers have signed Maalik Wayns on a 10-day contract.

The team waived the guard, who had not played in the first 33 games of the season, earlier this week.

However, the 22-year-old is now expected to serve as backup to Darren Collison while Chris Paul is out with a shoulder injury.

Wayns joined the Clippers after a brief spell with the Philadelphia 76ers last season, featuring in six games.
