Chris Paul to miss six weeks with shoulder injury

Paul to miss six weeks

The Los Angeles Clippers have confirmed that Chris Paul's shoulder injury will keep him off the court for six weeks.

The point guard suffered a shoulder separation following a collision with Dallas Mavericks guard Monta Ellis last week.

The team have said that the 28-year-old will not need surgery, but he will miss up to six weeks while recovering.

Paul has averaged 19.6 points per game so far this season.
