Indiana Pacers thrash Atlanta Hawks to level series

The Indiana Pacers beat the Atlanta Hawks 101-85 to level their first-round playoff series.

The Indiana Pacers have levelled their playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks with a comfortable 101-85 win over the Eastern Conference's eighth seeds.

Paul Millsap helped the visitors to a strong start, leading them to a five-point lead by the end of the first quarter.

However, the top seeds were too strong in the second half, outscoring their opponents 31-13 in the third quarter to surge into the lead.

Paul George finished as the team's top scorer with 27, while George Hill added all 15 of his points in the second half.

The sides play the third game of their first-round series tomorrow evening.
