Golden State Warriors reach out to Ray Allen

Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers has revealed that the franchise has reached out to veteran star Ray Allen.

Allen is still a free agent after leaving the Miami Heat this past summer and he has yet to rule out a return to the game this season.

"It's uncertain as to what Ray wants to do," Myers told 95.7FM The Game.

"Here's the problem. We don't have enough minutes as it is so it's just a question of chemistry."

Allen still resides in Miami and he admitted that he would likely have returned to the Heat had LeBron James stayed, but he will continue to assess his options heading into 2015.
