Brian Shaw to replace Alvin Gentry at Warriors?

Former Denver Nuggets coach Brian Shaw is reportedly keen to replace Alvin Gentry at the Golden State Warriors.

Brian Shaw has reportedly expressed an interest in replacing Alvin Gentry on the Golden State Warriors' coaching staff.

The associate head coach is leaving the Western Conference champions to take up the head coach vacancy with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Shaw is a free agent after being fired by the Denver Nuggets in March, and Yahoo Sports reports that the three-time NBA champion guard is interested in joining the Warriors.

Shaw spent time as an assistant with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he won three titles as a player, and Indiana Pacers before joining the Nuggets in 2013.
