Curry wants Jackson to remain as coach

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has revealed that he wants current head coach Mark Jackson to stay on in his position come next season.

The Warriors were knocked out of the playoffs on Saturday night, as they lost Game Seven 126-121 at the hands of the Los Angeles Clippers.

"I'm ready to come to training camp next year with coach Jackson at the helm," Curry said after the match.

"We're not the ones making decisions. We came into this season thinking this was a long-term situation.

"But, obviously, [Jackson has] been having to answer these questions all year."

Jackson was originally hired as head coach of the Warriors in 2011.
