Dirk Nowitzki has praised the performances of Dallas Mavericks teammate Monta Ellis this season, following the team's win over the New Orleans Pelicans.
The guard was the team's top scorer during their 108-89 win, leaving them sixth in the Western Conference standings.
The forward told reporters: "Monta has been doing a great job I think picking his spots, attacking when it's there. He's been great for us all season making plays off the dribble and getting in the lane."
Ellis has averaged 19 points per game this season.
