Derrick Rose not getting too carried away by return for USA against Brazil

Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose insists that he's not going to get too carried away despite making his return to the court for the US national team against Brazil.

Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose has said that he is not getting too carried away despite returning to the court after a season-long absence.

Rose was kept out of the NBA last term, but made a comeback last night as the US national team defeated Brazil in an exhibition game at the United Center.

''I think everybody's excited,'' said Rose, according to The AP.

''It was cool. At the same time, I can't get big-headed about it or anything like that. I've just got to keep poised.

''Playing against this competition, I was just trying to get my wind back. I am going hard at practice and pushing myself every day.''

Rose collected seven points on the night, with the US notching a 95-78 victory as they prepare for the World Cup of Basketball.
