Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau has insisted that point guard Derrick Rose just needs to play in order to improve on the court.
Rose returned from a hamstring strain in Monday night's 97-95 win over the Utah Jazz after sitting out the previous four games and he finished with 18 points in 25 minutes of action.
"He's got to get out there and play," Thibodeau told reporters.
"I thought he did a lot of good things. You could see he's not real comfortable with the ball yet, but that will come. When Derrick strings some games together, he's going to take off. He's got to go. That's the bottom line. He's got to go."
The 26-year-old has already missed eight games this season due to a combination of the hamstring problem and sprained ankles as he looks to play regular basketball after playing in just 10 games over the previous two seasons due to knee injuries.
