Report: Kevin Garnett backs Jason Kidd rant

Report: Garnett backs Kidd

Brooklyn Nets coach Jason Kidd reportedly received support from Kevin Garnett after he vented his frustration at the team.

The Chicago Bulls thrashed the Nets on Christmas Day in front of a national television audience, inflicting a 17-point loss on the struggling side for the second consecutive game.

"If you're missing shots, that's just part of the game. But if you're not giving energy or effort, I've got to take you out," Kidd said after the loss to Chicago.

Garnett stood up and vented his frustration too before walking out of the locker room but stressed that he backs Kidd's assessment, according to ESPN.
