Report: Celtics want picks for Rondo

The Boston Celtics have reportedly settled on an asking price of two first-round draft picks if an NBA rival would like to secure Rajon Rondo's services.

Rondo has been linked with a move away from Boston in recent months, but the franchise's stance could possibly scare off interested teams, according to Bulls.com

The New York Knicks have been mentioned as a possible destination for Rondo, but they have no first-round picks to offer the Celtics.

A lack of movement between Boston and any interested team means that a deal is unlikely to be completed before Thursday's trade deadline.

Rondo recently returned to action after almost a year out due to a knee injury.
