Gareth Hock will miss four matches as a result of his conduct towards a referee at the weekend.

England forward Gareth Hock has been handed a four-match suspension for making deliberate physical contact with referee George Stokes.

The incident took place during Widnes's 36-0 win over Workington at Derwent Park on Sunday afternoon.

He will now miss matches against Huddersfield Giants, Salford City Reds, Catalan Dragons and Wigan Warriors.

Hock was banned for five games for a similar incident while playing for Wigan back in 2008.
