Tottenham Hotspur confirm arrests of three pitch invaders

Tottenham Hotspur confirm that the three men who invaded the pitch during the Europa League match against Partizan have been arrested.

Tottenham Hotspur have condemned the three pitch invaders who disrupted their Europa League game against Partizan at White Hart Lane.

Benjamin Stambouli's goal handed the hosts a 1-0 victory as Spurs secured a place in the first knockout round of the competition, but the night is likely to be remembered for three separate incidents which are believed to have been organised by a company looking to advertise headphones.

"Three pitch invaders at tonight's match have been arrested and are assisting police with their enquiries," read a statement on Tottenham's official Twitter page. "We shall provide an update as soon as we have established the full facts.

"We apologise to fans for the disruptions caused by this totally unacceptable behaviour."

Reports have suggested that the company behind the incidents have a merchandising agreement with Spurs.
