Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly monitoring Sunderland midfielder Paddy McNair but the League One club are holding out for £7m.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in signing Sunderland midfielder Paddy McNair.

The 23-year-old cost the Black Cats £5.5m when moving from Manchester United in 2016, netting five times since his arrival at the Stadium of Light.

The Northern Echo claims that Wolves are keeping tabs on McNair, who is keen to return to the Premier League.

The report adds that Sunderland are holding out for £7m for the Northern Ireland international, with Brighton & Hove Albion amongst several other clubs monitoring the player.

Sunderland's chairman Steward Donald confirmed last week that the club had received bids for McNair in excess of Brighton's recent £3.5m offer.
