Pedro Obiang and Marko Arnautovic could be fit to face Tottenham.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini hopes to have some players back from injury for the Carabao Cup clash with Tottenham.

Pedro Obiang, Marko Arnautovic and Lucas Perez all missed the 1-1 draw at Leicester on Saturday night through injury and illness.

The Hammers host their London rivals Spurs in the fourth round of the cup on Wednesday and Pellegrini, whose list of unavailable players also includes Andriy Yarmolenko, Andy Carroll, Winston Reid, Carlos Sanchez, Manuel Lanzini and Jack Wilshere, hopes to see his options boosted for the tie.

“Maybe for this week with the cup, Pedro Obiang maybe. We will see, he worked today (Saturday) without any problems so maybe he can be fit for Wednesday,” said Pellegrini, speaking before the tragic events at the King Power Stadium following Saturday’s Premier League game.

“We need to continue monitoring the situation with Marko Arnautovic and his virus. Lucas Perez also, I am not sure sure, he has a pain in his foot.

“The other six players we have no option but at least to wait another couple of weeks.”

Grady Diangana made his first Premier League start against Leicester and the 20-year-old midfielder impressed his manager.

“I am very happy for him. He has the personality to play in the same way that he has worked every day of the week,” said Pellegrini.

“He is a young player who I trust a lot in what he can do during the game. I think he played a good game and must continue taking his chances.”

Shortly after the game on Saturday night the helicopter of Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha crashed outside the King Power Stadium.

The investigation is continuing and it is believed no decision has been made yet as to whether Leicester’s Carabao Cup game against Southampton at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday will go ahead.
