Harry Redknapp has admitted that injuries have prevented his squad from gelling early in the 2014-15 season.

The Queens Park Rangers manager revealed that he was looking forward to the international break to give the side time to get some of their players back up to full fitness.

The Hoops will be looking for their first away win of the season when they travel to West Ham United on Sunday.

Good morning! Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp will be talking to the media in the next 15 minutes or so as his side continue to pursue their first away points of the season with a trip to West Ham United this weekend.

The Hoops are without a win in their last three outings in the top flight, with defeats to Manchester United and Southampton in September, as well as a 2-2 draw with Stoke City.

As a result of their recent run, QPR head into the weekend in the relegation zone, but a win could move them out of the bottom three, as they're just a point behind Sunderland.

The manager should provide an update on some of the club's injured players this morning. Joey Barton and Jordan Mutch both missed their last outing with hamstring injuries, while Adel Taarabt and Niko Kranjcar have also been carrying knocks recently.

QPR goalkeeper Robert Green, who used to play for West Ham, has already been speaking to the media this morning, he told reporters: "I had some great times at West Ham. It'll be a tough game, Rio Ferdinand and the manager are also going back. Looking at the game, it'll be difficult but it's one we are aiming to take something from."

Right then, the manager is ready to face the media's questions, so let's see what he has to say.

The manager starts by discussing the club's injury list. He reveals: "We've got to have a look at the injured players today. Sandro has recovered, hopefully he'll be ok."

Continuing to discuss the injuries, Redknapp adds: "We've been hampered by injuries, Sandro, Joey Barton and Jordan Mutch haven't really been in the side together."

Looking back at their last match against Southampton, Redknapp says: "I thought we did ok at Southampton, It was pleasing to see Charlie Austin score again. We could do with a result away."

On the prospect of returning to West Ham, the manager tells reporters: "I always look forward to a trip to West Ham. I have a few friends there, it's a good club, a fantastic club, which will always be a special place for me. Sam has built a good side at West Ham, it will be good to see some old friends on Sunday."

Redknapp admits that the international break will give the team a chance to get some of their players back up to match fitness. He says: "It's not been easy, we just need a settled team. The international break will give us time to get some players back. Leroy Fer is getting up to speed now, we also need to get Adel back out on the pitch."

Redknapp, who was at one time considered a potential future England manager, is asked about the ongoing row over Daniel Sturridge's fitness, and whether or not he should have been available for England selection this month. Redknapp says: "He can't play is he's not fit, I wouldn't want to get involved with it, I've got enough problems here at QPR. Roy's trying to do the best he can for England and it's a difficult situation. [Brendan Rodgers and Roy Hodgson are] two top, experienced managers and I'm sure they'll sort it out between them."

Redknapp is asked again about the club's injury problems. He adds: "I haven't seen Sandro on the pitch much yet since I signed him. It's not been easy, I bought Jordan Mutch in to do a job and he hasn't been fully fit yet. Joey Barton has also been struggling. We need those players fit and we haven't been able to get them all on the pitch together to gel."

Well that's all from Redknapp today. Don't forget to join us again on Sunday to find out whether QPR can get their first win of the season. We'll have team news, live commentary and match reaction from Upton Park. Until then, thanks for joining me this morning, goodbye.
