Team News: Patrick Bamford fit to start Championship playoff final

Norwich City remain unchanged for their Championship playoff final showdown at Wembley, while Patrick Bamford is declared fit for Middlesbrough.

Norwich City manager Alex Neil has stuck with a winning formula by naming an unchanged side for this afternoon's playoff final clash against Middlesbrough.

The Canaries, who overcame local rivals Ipswich Town to reach the Wembley showdown, are also boosted by the return from suspension of striker Lewis Grabban to their matchday squad.

As far as Boro are concerned, they can call upon fit-again forward Patrick Bamford, who has recovered from a troublesome ankle injury in time to be named in the starting lineup.

The Chelsea loanee comes into the side as the only change made by manager Aitor Karanka, with Kike the man to make way from last week's comfortable victory over Brentford.

Middlesbrough got the better of their opponents in both regular league meetings this season, but City finished one place higher in the league table.

Middlesbrough XI: Konstantopoulos, Whitehead, Ayala, Gibson, Friend, Clayton, Leadbitter, Adomah, Vossen, Tomlin, Bamford
Subs: Ripley, Kike, Forshaw, Reach, Amorebieta, Nsue, Woodgate

Norwich City XI: Ruddy; Whittaker, Martin, Bassong, Olsson; Redmond, Howson, Tettey, Johnson; Hoolahan; Jerome
Subs: Rudd, Grabban, Hooper, E Bennett, R Bennett, O'Neil, Dorrans
