Alan Pardew still angered by Hull City defeat

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew reveals that he is still angered by Saturday's 3-2 defeat to Hull City in the Premier League.

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has revealed that he is still "absolutely livid" with Saturday's defeat to Hull City in the Premier League.

The Magpies missed the chance to move into the Champions League places as they went down 3-2 at St James' Park.

"I'm absolutely livid over Saturday, I can't tell you," Pardew is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"You don't get many opportunities to get into the top four of the Premier League, and to all intents and purposes we let ourselves down."

Newcastle return to action tonight (Wednesday) when they host Leeds United in round three of the Capital One Cup.
