Adam Taggart's struck a 59th-minute penalty for the visitors, which proved enough to down the high-flying Roar.

Henrique spurned the chance to draw level on 81 minutes, smashing against the woodwork after latching onto a clever through-ball from Luke Brattan.

Clayton Zane's men withstood intense pressure throughout the final 10 minutes to seal an impressive victory for the Jets.
