Tuesday's Championship predictions including Millwall vs. Fulham

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Tuesday's Championship fixtures, including Millwall vs. Fulham.

Barnsley vs. Luton (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

After differing results at the weekend, Barnsley and Luton Town will make a quick return to Championship action on Tuesday, as they square off at Oakwell.

The hosts picked up a narrow 1-0 victory over Coventry City on Saturday after a draw to begin the season, while their visitors' winning start was followed by a 3-2 defeat to promotion-chasing West Bromwich Albion.

We say: Barnsley 1-1 Luton Town

Both sides have shown a general upwards trajectory in recent years and have kicked off the new season in impressive fashion, making this a particularly exciting and unpredictable encounter.

On this occasion, we cannot quite split them, and are opting for a hard-fought point for each side in what should be an end-to-end encounter.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.

Blackpool vs. Coventry (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Blackpool will continue their hunt for a first Championship win of the season on Tuesday following their promotion last year, as they welcome Coventry City.

Coventry survived the drop in their first campaign back in the Championship last year, eventually dragging themselves comfortably away from the bottom three, and they will be keen to build a strong run to begin the new season.

We say: Blackpool 0-2 Coventry City

While Blackpool will be desperate to pick up their first league win of the season, we see the slightly superior Coventry City squad claiming all three points from Tuesday's clash.

The Tangerines' attack has not looked threatening so far, and while Jerry Yates could turn that around when he finds his groove in the Championship, we see their slow start continuing for now.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Huddersfield vs. Preston (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

With both sides looking for a first Championship win of the season, Huddersfield Town and Preston North End will square off in West Yorkshire on Tuesday evening.

The visitors are one of only two sides to have lost both of their first two Championship games this season, while their opponents failed to beat Derby County on the opening day and were then on the wrong end of a 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Fulham.

We say: Huddersfield Town 1-1 Preston North End

Both sides come into the game in poor form, and we do not see either taking control of the game to pick up an important win.

Instead, we are opting for a low-scoring draw as the teams continue to struggle at both ends of the pitch.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Millwall vs. Fulham (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Fulham make the short trip to Millwall on Tuesday evening looking to strengthen their position at the top of the Championship standings.

While the Cottagers are one of 10 teams on four points, Millwall will move above their London rivals with victory at The Den.

We say: Millwall 1-2 Fulham

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Peterborough vs. Cardiff (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Peterborough United and Cardiff City will be aiming to build on weekend wins when they face off at London Road on Tuesday evening.

The Bluebirds beat Blackpool 2-0 on Saturday, a few hours after Peterborough had themselves picked up a first win of the Championship campaign at home to Derby County.

We say: Peterborough United 1-3 Cardiff City

This fixture tends to provide goals, with 18 being scored in the last three league meetings between the sides at the London Stadium at an average of six a game.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Swansea vs. Stoke (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Stoke City manager Michael O'Neill pictured in December 2020© Reuters

Following a goalless draw with Sheffield United on Saturday evening, Swansea City face another tough test on home turf in Championship action on Tuesday, as they welcome Stoke City to South Wales.

Russell Martin saw his side collect their first point of the season at the second time of asking at the weekend, while the Potters come with four points from their first two outings, most recently playing out a goalless draw with a resolute Birmingham City side.

We say: Swansea City 0-1 Stoke City

While Martin continues to implement his long-term plan at Swansea, they face a particularly tough test as a Stoke side arrive with an impressive mix of physicality and talent.

We see the Potters' experience disrupting the Swans, as Stoke could come and grind out an impressive away win in what we see being a low-scoring affair.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Reading vs. Bristol City (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Reading manager Veljko Paunovic pictured in December 2020© Reuters

Reading play host to Bristol City in the Championship on Tuesday evening looking to build on their victory at home to Preston North End at the weekend.

While the Royals recorded their first win of the season on Saturday, Bristol City make the trip to the Madejski Stadium having not prevailed in any of their three outings in all competitions.

We say: Reading 2-1 Bristol City

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
