Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas insists that Gareth Bale will not be sold this summer "for any price", despite interest from Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas has insisted that winger Gareth Bale won't be sold this summer.

The Wales international has been linked with several clubs across Europe including Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Villas-Boas told reporters: "He's not for sale at any price. No we haven't had any conversations.

"It's not irritating, I think it's part of when the market opens. It's normal that there is speculation everywhere."

Bale scored 21 goals in the Premier League last season as he scooped both PFA Player and Young Player of the Year awards.
