Manchester United 'demand £200m for Paul Pogba'

Manchester United reportedly place a world-record asking price of more than £200m on the head of wantaway midfielder Paul Pogba.

Manchester United have reportedly put a world-record price tag of more than £200m on the head of disgruntled midfielder Paul Pogba.

Pogba is understood to be eager to leave Old Trafford following a number of reports that he has fallen out with manager Jose Mourinho.

The relationship between the pair has allegedly sunk to new depths after Mourinho confirmed that the France international has been removed as vice-captain of the team - a decision he informed Pogba of in front of the rest of the squad.

Mourinho refused to divulge the reasons behind his decision, but Pogba has made headlines for a string of post-match comments so far this season, including after Saturday's 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers when he urged the team to play more attacking football.

The Mirror reports that the relationship between player and manager has broken down beyond repair, but that United will demand a world-record sum to sell the 25-year-old next summer.

The likes of Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and former club Juventus are thought to be interested in Pogba, who has three years remaining on his contract at Old Trafford.
